Camino de Santiago

Day 44 on the Camino Santiago: Samos

My recuperation from the bout of food poisoning earlier this weeks is steady. In preparation for the next stage of the Camino, which is 15kms to the nearest town, we did a couple of test walks today.

We walked a short distance along the path towards Triacastela.

Chestnuts are everywhere at the moment, these had a soft landing

The conclusion is clear, I’m not up to walking those 15 km yet, so the revised plan is to wait till Sunday before starting out.

Nevertheless, as you can see, this is a beautiful place to recuperate.
