I make it hard on myself – I only feature three posts a month.
So, in no particular order, Freshly Seen at Jill’s Scene in December were:
Jessica and Marco love life and they love to travel. They also happen to be talented photographers. I’ve been to some of the same places and I know how difficult it can be to get the kind of shots they achieve. Theirs are photos that make you want to grab your camera and jump on the next flight.
What’s more, I’ve actually met Jessica and Marco. It was at a meet-up Nomadic Matt organised in Bangkok earlier this month. Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to catch-up with them again in 2016. They love New Zealand and they’re coming back!
Check-out their website. Not only are the photos brilliant, but it’s filled with interesting and helpful information for travellers. My favourite at the moment is their Chinese Phrasebook.
I’ve been following Gemma and Craig for a while as they travel through the Americas and Europe on an 18month career break.
Their blog is packed with travel tips and information for travel bloggers. This month I was hooked by their 2016 itinerary. They’re going places I’d like to visit and might during 2016. I’ll be eagerly waiting for their posts, as they update us all on their adventures.
Claire loves to read and she reads a lot. And then she tells us what she thinks about the books. This month Claire has reviewed :
Under the Udala Trees by Chinelo Okparanta – a review that has piqued my interest and may well expand my reading horizons
I’ve read this short story several times, myself. Claire’s review captures it beautifully.
On those days when you are looking for a good book, Word by Word is a blog well worth checking out.
So there you have, it my favourite reads from the blogosphere for December. Check them out and come back and tell me what you think.
