Where-ever you are in the world today, a joyous Christmas to you and those you love.
St Mary’s Cathedral, Yangon, Myanmar
St Joseph’s Cathedral, Taungyii, Myanmar
St Joseph’s, Mandalay, Myanmar
Holy Redeemer Church, Bangkok, Thailand
Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Lautoka, Fiji
The last time our family was together for Christmas was in Bangkok in 2012. This year, our numbers have expanded, and we’re all gathering in Wellington, New Zealand.
If you celebrate Christmas, where will you be on the day?

Hi Jack, those churches were awe-inspiring. Now that I’m home again, our churches seem stark in comparison.

Have a blessed holiday and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year! Love the interiors of St Mary’s and the second St Joseph’s! I will be enjoying a Christmas BBQ today and the start of the Sydney Hobart tomorrow. Enjoy your NZ holiday 🎅🏼🎁🎄

The interiors of those churches were so very vibrant, a feast for the eyes of which my photos show only a tiny morsel! Happy Christmas to you, too, Lisa. As for the Sydney to Hobart, even I have heard of that. How exciting for you to be there for it!

The Churches are each stunning in their unique ways, Dan. Have a wonderful day in Connecticut. It’s 26 C here, perfect for eating outside – very different from your Christmas, I imagine.

A Northern Christmas! Have a wonderful day. Do you have snow, yet?

No! It’s too warm and wet. The Highlands might get a bit tomorrow, but not us. Bad news for the ski resorts.
Thanks for the good wishes, have a wonderful time.

Thanks and the pictures are beautiful .. It’s funny but most churches seem to be built out of love and devotion to God! Any God but definitely faith. A place where we can all share. I think sometimes it separates people and that part is sad to me. This Christmas visit at least 3 others be they a temple or a mosque or another version of Christianity like Lutheran or Roman Catholic or Ukrainian … Blessing to you all and sending love too! Rick =)
