All Good Things Come to Those Who Wait!
Today has been all about the volcano. Taranaki finally revealed himself and I am enchanted. These are the best four of the 100+ photos I took with my iPhone today.

I visited Mt.Taranaki in 2014 and did a couple of the bush walks. I drove from Rotorua through to New Plymouth just to see the mountain. Such a beautiful place.

We lived in Oakura for 4 years back in the 1980’s and that gorgeous mountain in all it’s moods was our backdrop to living. Your photos brought back memories of those days. Lucky you that she showed you her face… 🙂

The first photo was my favorite – and Jill – I have to say that I am so happy that you gave us four photos – well partly because they are so great – but also – when people post a bunch – like more than ten – well it just gets to be too much – for me at least – and well, I found that four were just so digestible.
